Been a while since I had a Paperless I couldn't subdue, but have one today. Everything appears to be OK - the DLL says it registered when I did it manually, the printer Security tab is correct, the port is Sage. I've rerun Wksetup, run PDFInstall.exe, run pl_Advancedoptions_UI (it keeps saying that it's not installed and not registered). This machine was working fine on Monday and they updated something on the SERVER (this is Standard) and now just this one machine isn't working. Message is Unable to Initialize PDF Converter. Oh, and I also restarted the print spooler. Help!

There is one step that you didn't mention that I am in the habit of doing: I'm not sure if this is your issue but it is worth mentioning try going into regedit and HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG > Software > Sage 100 PDF Converter (make sure there is only one listed) right click on it and select ""permissions"" and give everyone full control

Did you rerun the WKupdate. I'm pretty sure you would have done that... I ran into a PDF issue recently (not quite the same) and only needed to register the dll. However, the instructions said to check that the dll is cdintf300.dll (not cdintf.dll) in the windows\system32 folder on the PC. Also, based on the computer being a 32 or 64 bit machine, the size of the cdintf300.dll should be 3,436kb or 3,744kb, respectively. If you want to look at the full KB article that helped me, it is called ""Error: External Exception C015000F when printing to PDF Using Paperless Office"" Not sure it will help, but since you're stuck, might want to take a look at it.

Well, it's getting better. When we rebooted again, the Start icon in Windows only gives you the options you have if you right click, no matter which clicking we are doing. I think this machine is heading downhill....

I expect you have done this but I have found most success with this specific order Uninstall all instances of workstations Disable UAC Reboot Install wksetup (run as admin) Fix printer settings

And so, the IT guy finally saw.... a mess of controller errors on the computer. So it's dying and I'm off the case until they get a new computer and I'm sure it will install beautifully then. WHEW.
