I have experience with this.
A customer installed Beanworks right about when Covid started in 2020-2021.
They subsequently upgraded, and I used information from the link below to install the Beanworks sync to the new server.
I notice that you will not be upgrading and instead just moving servers. As such I think you probably only need to install the sync tool on the new server.
Below are the added steps I followed when I had to upgrade to a new Sage 100 version.
I believe these are the steps:
- Notify Beanworks of when you are going to upgrade - they "push" an update so you can select the new version from the BeanWorks synchronization setup
- Install synchronization installation.
My customer noticed that many of their checks "doubled up" in history ( I forget exactly what the issue was ) due to the check number expansion (new feature) during the upgrade. It might be worth checking with BeanWorks if they've resolved this issue.
