Where is the beginning balance that is displayed on the bank recap report stored?

It's calculated. The Current Balance in Bank Code Maintenance (GL_Bank) then backs out all transactions to come up with the beginning number.  In a perfect world, it should be the last bank statement balance that was reconciled​
