Balancing 1099 information - Anyone have a quick way of determing the detail for 1099's? Client has reported numerous balances that look odd. Don't see an easy way of tracking the details........ v4.4.7

Use the Payment History Report and select only 1099 Vendors to print on the report.

AP Check & Manual Check Registers have the details until updated.

I don't see where the payment history report is helpful as it doesn't appear to indicate if the invoice was a 1099 invoice, just the vendor. Clark, it appears that your report is just a recap of the information in the 1099Payments table, Is the a correct observation. Lee, it looks like a pivot table on the check detail history will pull the details that I need.

Jeff, you could add the AP_InvoiceHistoryHeader file to the Payment History report and add the 1099 fields to that report to verify that the invoices were 1099 invoices that were paid.

Jane, thanks for the thought. For these quick and dirty reports, I just use an excel query to pull the data into a spreadsheet, then fire up a pivot table. Very fast, very slick. For me, much easier than creating/modifying a Crystal report. If client wants something repetitive, then they get a Crystal. Once I figured out the queries in Excel, I stopped using VI to pull data out of the tables.

Late to the party but insights explorer (payments view) is excellent for this.
