An item is not on hand and is backordered on a sales order. The item is received on a PO and so there is now quantity on hand. The sales order is invoiced and the line item still shows the quantity as backordered, so the user has to change the quantity shipped from 0 to 1.
Is there a setting or utility I forgot about that allows the quantity backordered on a sales order to the "ship" and not show as backordered when the order is invoiced? if there are many backordered items it takes a lot of time and can results in errors if a user has to manually populated the shipped field in invoice data entry for all of the backordered items.
