Drag your Sage PAM into the fracas. The need to be aware of the foot dragging. had an issue last with client new to Avalara and it was a cluster. Took four months to resolve. Avalara kept blaming Sage. DSD helped me a bit but not enough. Ended up with a tag team wrestling match with three from Avalara, three from Sage, the client and me. Avalara is clueless if something goes off the rails. Good luck!!!

It depends on how you define success.
Will they pick up the phone? Yes.
Will they know what Sage 100 is? Maybe
I chased the same or similar issue with totals on an Avalara customer site and it was frustrating on a few levels. First, the Avalara integration for Sage 100 seems to update daily. So before you can call you really need to install the latest Avalara integration. This is fine until you realize 99.9% of Avalara users are 20+ user sites working three shifts in Sage where you'll have to beg them to get everyone out at 8 pm so you can install the integration again.
I feel as if so long as you don't hit on one fo the Avalara bugs then the product works fine. As soon as you find a bug, my experience is that it takes a long time to resolve.
