I cannot believe this but one of my customers is undergoing a sales tax audit and the auditor wants to know if they are paying Avalara any sales tax. Seriously?? SaaS is NOT taxable in the state of MN but he is saying he needs to see something that states it is NOT a purchase. So I gave him this:
