If anyone has had to escalate an issue with Avalara billing and you have a good contact at either Avalara or Sage ( or both ) - please let me know.
The customer believed they had canceled with Avalara. When I went to do their upgrade, I noted that the AVATAX sales tax schedule was still in use, and the customer continued to express their opinion that they had canceled. I immediately brought this to their attention and questioned how/why/if they had canceled. The customer continued to express their belief that they were done months ago with Avalara. I urged them to pull all AVATAX codes.
Fast forward, and it's the main event. The customer is toe to toe with Avalara billing, asserting overages and unpaid fees because the contract can only be canceled annually.
I know this is a movie some of you have seen a few times. I was just wondering about the best current contact - hopefully at Sage - to bring this issue to someone's attention.
