  • 1.  Avalara - Client has 2 addresses that Avalara kee

    Avalara - Client has 2 addresses that Avalara keeps changing incorrectly. I was not involved in the install but now have been contacted when the *expletive deleted* hits the fan. Is there a way around this? Do I have to be on the client's contact list in order to call Avalara on their behalf?

    It's been a while, but I have called on a client's behalf before and they've talked to me.

    I think you do have to be listed as the partner in the #Avalara system. It's been nearly a year since I had to call, though, so I could be wrong.

    AH, after posting this I remembered I'd had dinner with one of their sales guys (no I was not that drunk, it was more than a day ago so who can remember?) so I emailed him and he's going to have support get in touch with the client. Yay. But thanks for the responses, even though now we won't know who was right...

    I have a number of contacts at Avalara. I suggest you call support and see if you get a resolution. Just let them know that you are with the client. I would also check the addresses in question. We use Avalara in-house. I'm not aware of experiencing any issues similar to what you are describing. If you run into a roadblock, let me know and I will see if I can help.
