    I have a customers with an extensive IT department looking to create and assign roles to new or departing users

    They are on Sage 100 Premium v2019

    They are using Sailpoint ( https://www.sailpoint.com/ ) to manage configuration of different apps.

    At a high level my understanding of what they want to do: 

    a. I join the company
    b. They give me a network login
    c. They provision (automatically) all the apps that I'll use with security permissions based on my job classification within Sailpoint

    They want this to be automatic.

    They do presently use unified login which to my mind accomplishes 99% (security wise) of the most important things ( enable/disable access)

    They are questioning the "last mile" of also setting up the user roles.

    The relevant piece for this question: 

    a. Would want to create the user in Sage 100
    b. Would like to automatically assign roles based on job classification in Sailpoint
    c. Would also need the ability to modify roles should the user leave one department and join another


    It looks as if you may be able to use VI to create SY_User

    Has anyone had to do this or maybe I'm overlooking something else and this isn't as complex as it seems?
