My client recently switch to 64 bit of Sage 100. They had several windows batch files that import data into Sage using the VI commands.

Ever since the switch to 64, the batch VI jobs have stopped running thru the windows task scheduler. No other changes were made.

If you manually run the batch files, they import successfully so i know the syntax is still correct. The batch files have been scheduled to run under windows task scheduler. If you run the job(s) in task scheduler, it runs without out error. (yes, it is marked to run whether user is logged on or not)

I have even tried to edit the batch file to use pvxwin64.exe and not pvxwin32. No luck

I have even tried the Sage 1000 Task Scheduler and create scheduled imports that way. No Luck.

Both the windows batch files and Sage Task Scheduler are not running.

    Any suggestions, would be helpful.

    Thank you

    Michael

It sounds as if there may be some redirection to 32-bit going on when no user is logged in. Have you tried changing the Task Scheduler entries to explicitly use the 64-Bit command processor as the Program where the batch file name is the argument?

This is the location for the 64-Bit command processor. (I know it always looks ambiguous)

    C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe
