ATTN: GoToAssist users. I just sat through a webinar sponsored by LogMeIn (the owner of GoToAssist). They are releasing an updated remote support tool in 4th quarter 2018. The new remote tool will be called Rescue Assist. It is web based (instead of a desktop program), will include real-time messaging with end-user, file transfer, etc. Most important is: connecting to the end-user is immediate. If a download is necessary, it happens in the background. YMMV.
