Attempting to import into 2018 payroll. I created the import on my machine first, works fine. (Have to use the special code since Dep is col1 and Empl is col2) When I run it on the customer's machine, it doesn't appear to even TRY to calculate the employee key - it just shows a blank field and an error that ""The employee key is required"". Almost acts like the programming to run the special sauce is missing - no error, but doesn't seem to be TRYING, either. Anyone else ever seen this?

Did you rekey on their install or import from yours?

    I've done both, actually.

Do you have payroll batches setup and they don't? I was thinking I had something like that happen.

No, had that issue at first, but took care of it. The ONLY thing erring out is the Employee Key and it is totally blank.

Make sure the employee pay cycle is the same as the pay cycle you are creating with import one.
