At Sage Inspire Tour in Atlanta with fellow minders Todd Martin and Phil McIntosh. So far the typical Sage propaganda and hype. Sage CRM presentation a little better than normal. Actually talked about selling it to non Sage prospects! They don't do themselves a favor when taking about going to customer events filled with accountants when selling a CRM product. #wrongaudience

What's the total attendance count? How many are VARS, Sage, Pure Customers? Thanks for this update - if you can take a camera shot that'd be interesting too.

Room started nearly empty except for Sage employees but is slowly filling up. Over 55 partners signed up. I count 18 now but many vendors like us (3) have multiple attendees.

Tomorrow customer day is in peril due to anticipated snow and ice. After school sports and other events already cancelled in most of metro area

Matching benefits if CRM to success stories. A really good idea. Unfortuneately all success stories not in one place and one being discussed not yet on portal. Will eventually all be on Sage sell, but for now you need to also look on Sage CRM community to find most.

Starting Sage Mobile pitch. Several 'in the future' quotes about being ably to try with demo database and certification for install of mobile so partners can earn. Mobile applications require current versions and help start upgrade conversations

After customer clicks BUY NOW the Sage team is manually looking up partner of record and partner will get commission. Sage will not bill until customer is upgraded to a compatible level. If customer calls and contacts Sage, they are trying to get reseller involved at that level. For every 10 demos they do 4 buy. All demos are currently interactive. They planned to get customer launch recorded, but recommended using You Tube links for customer prospecting.

I'm not sure how someone could not buy. The cost to acquire is very low. I'm guessing only 40% are on 2013 (or willing to upgrade). My fear is that I upgrade someone for $x,xxx and they don't like the mobile app. Then I have to listen to how expensive it was to get to 2013 --- all for nothing...

He stayed awake! The meeting was called at 4:00 so the Sage people could make their way to the airport and get to Miami

Sage said 90 people signed up for the Customer Day, but that may have included resellers.

Just barely awake! The guy who does the Mobile Sales app presentation could market it as a cure for insomnia:-)
