  • 1.  Assign a user from the license to a task

    Ridddle me this.  A client has purchased a CADD Software Integration product (Not QBuild).  The company custom writing this integration for them is experiencing times during the day when they try and connect for the intergraiton, and they find there are no user licenses available.  The question is wether there is a method for us to assit by "forcing" one user license to always be reserved for their integration engine?  Is this possible?  Does anyone have experience with this?

    I've tried every way possible to reserve a user-license and I don't think it is possible. If the integration is written in BOI, maybe you could have the script check the number of distinct users from SY_Console before running. I think the only foolproof solution we have is to have them purchase enough users licenses to avoid that. But if anyone else has found a solution I would love to hear about it.

    None that I know of... besides logging in, and leaving the Launcher open in the session being used.
