As soon as I saw Salesforce bought this quote to cash company I thought it was not good news for Sage Live.
Sage is building on the Salesforce platform. What happens if Salesforce decides to get into accounting next? I guess Sage Live would have to hope that Salesforce bought them or they'd be competing with the underlying ""platform"".
I don't think this is good news for Sage Live or anyone who has built on the Salesforce platform and has a product/service which Salesforce might realistically decide to compete against by entering the market (either by building it themselves or buying an existing application).
