    As I was driving around in the car I was thinking that it would be nice if we used a group Google Hangout for impromptu minor tech inquiries. Example: Customer calls. I can take the incoming call in the car. But I don't have easy access to the Sage Atlas portal while mobile. Would it be helpful if we had a group hangout where a number of us could pitch in and run an Atlas KB lookup or provide other ""quick question"" type assistance? http://www.google.com/+/learnmore/hangouts/ I know this would be hugely helpful to me perhaps 2 or 3 times a month when I'm mobile. Not talking about replacing the Sage 100 Emergency Group but supplementing it for other urgent questions that are urgent mostly because we're mobile or not in front of the computer to lookup a question in KB. Thoughts? Could we derive benefit from having 10-12 people agree to do this?

    What if we did two: a. Pure business - tech related b. Off-topic or chat That way someone who only wants business related discussion won't have to see the off-topic stuff. I think this would be a powerful tool. Imagine sitting in a customer meeting and you ask a question and can show in real time that you just got 5 answers/second opinions from other Sage partners... I think that'd be impressive and we have that capability if we try.

    I think this is worth a shot - if you want to be added to this Google+ hangout (which is basically group chat) then click the link below and request membership to the 90 Minds G+ Community. This will require that you have a Google account. If not it will allow you to create one. Once you've joined the community then I'll know to add you to the Hangout. Hangouts can be: a. Muted - so yo don't have to worry about them popping up all the time b. Left at any time - if it's not for you then you can leave the hangout Here's the G+ community to join.     It's for emergencies where we also receive in an inquiry from an online form that a customer submits. This is less formal and could be for non-emergency but still urgent info. I find the Atlas portal terrible to try to navigate while mobile so we can use this to ask someone to lookup an error code while we are on the road, etc.

    Last call - if you have not already joined 90 Minds Community on Google + please consider it. I'll be creating Hangouts later this week. So far we have 10 people.

    Wayne, my brain is not cooperating today.. I can't tell if I'm already a member of the community, and I can't see how to find it or join it. Sheesh! And I haven't even had my evening libation yet! Can you give me a hand here?

    I also think we need to keep pushing forward and investigating Socialcast alternatives. The mobile experience for Socialcast is pretty poor in my experience. I believe Socialcast is aimed at the desk jockeys within Fortune 100 companies and that is not us. We are going to need to get off Socialcast at some point.

    SalesLogix is starting to incorporate tibbr into its product, responding to salesforce's chatter. tibbr is from Tibco, the same company that produces Spotfire analytics also used in SLX. Analysts seem to rank tibbr, yammer, socialcast and chatter more or less together. Any thoughts on that?

    Created hangout for 90 Minds technical- for announcements and tech questions in real time when you're not in front of the computer or even if you are.
