Are you doing FAS upgrades yourself or do you use someone to manage them? I have a handful of users who seem to upgrade FAS sporadically (if at all) and about every 8 years someone pops up saying they need to upgrade.

We have the same experience. We do the upgrades ourselves though they are a pain because you need a copy of all the years in between and need to upgrade through each year with a few exception in recent years. The other thing that makes it painful is that you have to do the upgrade of older years on the old server and the more recent years on a new server because of operating system compatibility. I dread these upgrades and do a lot of planning ahead of time.

We do upgrades, specifically at the same time as the Sage 100 upgrades, so we do not fall behind. We have 2 certified consultants, so we also actively sell FAS.

I do them same time as Sage 100 upgrade.

I do them myself. And I just notify all my FAS customers when the new version comes out to see if they want to upgrade.
