Are we ready to go for this MOTM? I have to be really candid and say that I'm deeply disappointed that we spend so much time bickering about little shit and nobody seems to care about bylaws or any future planning. At some point we will need to either throw in the towel and ""stay as is"" or hire professional management. .02

Regarding the bylaws ... what is the goal of creating bylaws? What are we trying to accomplish? Why are they such an urgency now as opposed to a year ago? (Not trying to be argumentative - I'm curious as to what is prompting this.) I, for one, feel similar frustration around the marketing. It seems that my ideas for shared-cost, joint marketing have been met with skepticism and lack of interest. I still believe that we could outmaneuver other organizations with the right mindset and approach and generate new inbound business for 90 Minds members if we execute correctly. What's stopping us from doing a hangout and getting moving in the right direction?

The big picture issue is that every 6 months this Sage market space changes. Yet we are still largely managing as if it's 2005 and the Boogeyman is Blytheco when it's now Sage. WRT to marketing the problem is that you have three or four firms (including DSD) that have some of this capability ( notice I did not say they are executing on this ) -- and it's duplication and maybe a conflict for some of us to divert attention away from our company marketing. I'm not a high enough pay grade to move the needle at DSD but know that if I jumped in with a marketing project that gained headway --- I would be called into the principals office at some point.

So ... what about a hangout tonight @ 8:30 Central / 9:30 Eastern?

I'm usually damn close to being in bed by 9:30. I'd prefer to do it earlier - perhaps first thing.
