Are we ok with shutting down the Ask90Minds.com site and replacing it with a free standing WordPress Wiki type FAQ? We pay $40/mo now for this Ask90Minds.com. Traffic is in the 20 or so daily uniques and I have no way of telling how much of that is from our own members versus outside search. From what I can see in the approximate year that we've been using the site the lead potential is negligible. What we are attracting is basically free Q&A. #ask90minds #blog

I agree, it does seem like It's just another Q&A site. And $40/mo seems crazy. Surprised it costs that much! Assuming we shut it down and launch something else, can we salvage the info that's currently on ask90minds.com?

We could keep ask90minds up for a period of time -- or if there's a way to monetize the site that I'm not seeing we could keep it up permanently. We are talking $480 per year however it's not terribly expensive when any of our minimum fee could be 2x that. I'd just like to see it attract some questions - we are somewhat tied by what we can add to the site since it's not WordPress. If we had more control and could gather names for a newsletter or add in a form so people could submit ""help me"" type inquiries I'd feel a lot better about it. The $$ doesn't bother me as much as I'm not sure the site now is the best use of our efforts.

Why not move it to Wordpress using a Q&A theme? The current format doesn't seem to generate much value for the group.
