  • 1.  AR Statement Form Format - Printed vs. Emailed PDF

    Posted 09-03-2021 10:56
I apologize in advance if my description of the issue doesn't make any sense.  One user is running AR Statements by using the Print Or Electronically Deliver option.  The PRINTED documents are fine.  They print correctly in 8.5" x 11" format.  However, the statements that are delivered electronically are not in the correct format.  The PDF emailed to the customer is a 4" x 6" (shipping label size), so they only see the top left quadrant of the Statement.  To this point, I have:

    Uninstalled/Reinstalled Sage 100 PDF Converter
Modified and removed records from the SY_ReportSetting table in DFDM related to that Form Code
Other users have no issues printing/emailing using the same selected printer
Made sure No Printer was checked in Crystal Reports
Printer settings on computer appear to be good

I know I'm forgetting things I have tried or looked at to this point, but I'm at a loss as to why the printed document vs. the emailed document have 2 different formats.  Any ideas?

Check the default printer for the session and ensure it is not a label printer.

For now, I changed the Paper Size in DFDM, SY_ReportSetting to 0, and initially changed the default printer on the .rpt to the printer they're using.  I then checked the No Printer box and tried again and it worked. I'm wondering if even though I had it set to No Printer that it still somehow saved the settings of the printer that was the default had the No Printer box been unchecked. Up to this point, that seems to have resolved it.
