  • 1.  AR Invoice Update Interrupted

    Hi Everyone
    Customer is on 5.30 Premium.  Yesterday they had some issues and long story short, have an AR Invoice Batch showing Update Interrupted.  When I click ok to restart, it just gives me the batch record, no error.  There is a DTR ready to be updated though.  Customer says they don't see the invoices anywhere in the system.  
    Do I go ahead and update the DTR and see if that finishes the Update and clears the message or suggestions on how to fix?

    I just had a similar issue with one of our customers, except the DTR was already posted.  I was successfully able to post the Daily Sales Reports/Updates when going in a 2nd time, but the first invoice in the batch posted to AR and Inventory twice (did not post to GL twice).  The 2nd posting of the invoice showed up as an Adjustment to the original invoice.  

    I'd suggest copying live company to a backup, post the Invoice Register and scan through some of the first invoices to see if any of them post twice.

    This is resolved!  The message indicated to 'select the journal program to restart' - had I read this correctly I might have figured that out.  Geez, sometimes we can't see the forest for the trees.  
    Thanks Chris for your suggestion as it did help us think about trying to update the sales journal and DTR first.
