I have a client that is interested in implementing click to pay and am looking for feedback on the APS click to pay feature.  Anybody have good or bad experiences with it?  Any alternative suggestions?  Thanks!

I put it in a couple of years ago to a very unsophisticated user who was not integrated with credit cards. They were running credit cards through a terminal and re-keying.

The installation is quick. APS set up a 15 to 30-minute initial training call and from that point on the customer was up and running.

There were a few minor initial bugs that were resolved very quickly.

It's my go-to suggestion during upgrades if customers don't already integrate or if they are integrated I ask if they might use click-to-pay.

Great feedback. I have a similar situation where the customer is not accepting credit cards at all currently. Thanks

They have to check for new payments daily... there is no capacity to separate Cash Receipts by date (it is a bulk import process, and you get everything new since the last import).
APS said date separation is is planned when I asked recently.

Ok thanks. Does someone get any time of notification that a payment has been made?

I know there are some notification options, but am not aware of how they work.  I'm sure APS would give details if you ask.

Back when I was running the 90M books, I had it installed.  The most frustrating part to it a year ago was that the payment link embedded in the invoice was sketchy.  Clicking on it didn't always work, I had numerous emails asking how to get it to work.  I had a standard email response that highlighted the sweet spot to click on the invoice.  Support never could get it to work.  It sometimes worked better if you were using Adobe to open it.  You can get an email alert when someone pays.   I would check in the evenings around 8 PM (via cash receipts entry) for the daily payment download.  There was a slight glitch during the process (can't recall what it was now) that required a work around.  I submitted request for a fix but not sure if APS  got it done.  All in all, it was a feature that Paya did not have and I grew to appreciate it during dues renewal time.

@John Leonard, we use Click To Pay internally and find it extremely valuable.  The technology is solid.  Training the customers to pay in a different manner was/is difficult.  What I like is that once a customer signs in to pay one invoice, they can go back to the website to manage their invoices without doing it invoice by invoice.  That is the next level that makes this good.
