Apologies ahead of time, but I remember seeing something about a speed issue in 2018 Payroll, specifically when processing the ACH files from the Direct Deposit Menu. But I can't locate that thread now. We have a client with hundreds of employees, where the ACH file creation takes about 45 minutes now, where it was only seconds before the upgrade. Any idea of what to do to speed that back up?

There was a fix for that, but I am darned if I can find my notes on it. And searching Sage does no good. What SU of 2018 are they on?

[Maybe this?](https://sagecity.na.sage.com/support_communities/sage100_erp/f/sage-100-time-tracking-and-job-cost-modules/111462/direct-deposit-file-slow-creation-in-2018/307619#307619) There was a defect on version 2.18.4.0 and prior payroll regarding direct deposits. It was noted there was slowness due to the number of entries this issue caused. Take a look at kb's 93539 or 93616 to Download PR6007t for version PR 2.18.4.0 to fix this issue. This will also be fixed on PR update 2.18.5.0 when released targeted for Nov 2018.

Sorry Beth - I was/am in PR Hades currently. You know, last day of the year where folks have all of those ""Why doesn't this tie out"" kinda questions! Client is running on PU5...
