ApacheTomCat windows service - has anyone ran across some documents on troubleshooting why apache will not start. Error 1067 - I am thinking Java related.

TomCat is notoriously finicky. I believe there have been some posts published in 90 Minds previously on this topic. You need to make sure Jave auto-update is turned off. Our experience is that Java needs to be version 6 update 27.
