AP IRD's for 2015? Does anyone know yet if there will be program updates related to 1099's this year? We have a few customers on 4.5 whose only reason to upgrade now would be 1099's. (since Sage supposedly won't be issuing IRD's for 4.5) Otherwise they would prefer to wait until 2016 has been out for a while and upgrade early next year.

Not sure. Last year at a couple of clients faced with this issue, we installed the latest and greatest on the server, did the initial migration JUST for AP or PR year end reporting. Followed up later with the full conversion for the entire company. Once you get past the v4.4 version, the vanilla migrations are fairly straight forward...

Don't think so. The last IRD for 4.5 was 12/2014. They could go up to any interim version. Though ultimately this all flows through Aatrix.

My thinking is: as long as they can still generate the 2015 version of the Aatrix forms using 4.5 they could hold off upgrading until we are confident 2016 is ready for prime time. In the past we used to say ""wait until update 1"". if they needed to manually fix some 2016 1099 data for vendors they could do that using VI. Unless there is an IRD that changes how the 2015 1099 data prints on the forms they would be OK. If we put them on 2015 now they are already a ""year"" behind in releases.
