    Anyone with customers reporting issues with PO period end taking inordinate amount of time on 2013? (Advanced) Most modules take a couple of minutes. PO is taking over 1/2 hour.

    Yes! We had a client complain about it. We talked to Sage and they said it can take that long and pretty much there was nothing they could do. We noticed, it would take longer when printing the reports. If they uncheck the reports, it goes by faster. In our clients case, they never looked at reports so we had them print reports first and then run period end without them when everyone was out.

    You may want to consider setting up a new report setting that prints just open POs if you haven't done that already. Then apply that setting to the period end report selection. Printing just open POs instead of all made a huge difference in the processing time for one of my installations.
