I think I’ve heard of the name it have no experience. In Sageland it’s usually Paya, APS or Century that I see.

I’m not as concerned with rates - which seem to constantly be changing - as how well the integration works and how easy it is to upgrade.

Miah with VIP knows about VelocIT and can give you more information. VelocIT does integrate with Sage 100.

@Wayne Schulz couldn't agree with you more, and pretty much what I told my contact. They are currently on APS.

Converting from APS is not the same thing as converting from Paya.  Be sure to warn them that existing CC data may not be available for copying (unless VelocIT has a programmed interface to the APS vault), and need to be re-entered manually.

I tell any of my customers to use a 90 Minds affiliate.

If there’s a problem I know where to go to get it resolved and if they do a great job I’m going to tell everyone - which I always think makes companies work even harder.

Totally agree with @Wayne Shultz.  Otherwise, the guy you don't know that does CC processing is going to say any issues they might have are due to the software and not his program.  And then you'll have to get involved and be the go-between.   I always tell clients that if they want to use a Processor that is not one endorsed by us, that we can't be responsible for any issues that might arise, and all of our time resoling any issues would be billable.  Sounds harsh, but we've just spent too much time doing that "go-between" thing!

I was involved in testing VelocIT card readers  with a hosted solution, as it is hard to find a card read that can be connected to a workstation that runs an ERP in a hosted environment.  I found the members of VelocIT team that I worked with, and Tom Nanci from Miah's firm VIP, knowledgeable and helpful.  Within less than an hour we had completed integration of a remote card reader to a hosted server and mapped the credit card fields with Sage 100 fields to print a credit card receipt and write back the information form the remote card reader to Sage 100 Sales Order/Invoice.

VelocIT is producing a line equipment and software interfaces for the cloud.  I first learned of their products and services at the Acumatica Summit where they were well received.

VIP Integrated Payments is more like broker for CC processors and can rep any of the more popular solutions for Sage 100, Paya, APS, or Century.  When I want to know if X will work with Y I call Miah - he's opinion may not be 100% unbiased but I can say I learn more from him about a solution than I do with the others.

I agree with Moira, That is why I had referenced Miah. I think they are the only integrated provider that has the ability to have a chip reader, especially over a hosted connection. If there are others, I would be interested in knowing.

As to the converting of CC data. 100% correct. Data can convert from Paya. Some processors like APS already have this feature. But for it to go back to Paya or any other processor can be difficult or impossible. Some will allow, after signing you life away, a csv of the cards. Others I have heard just flat out say due to PCI we do not allow it, no exception.

Wait... they have an integrated chip and PIN device that works over a terminal connection?  We've been searching for years...
