Anyone used an iPad to view SageU anytime learning? Just had an inquiry from a client that wants to take their SageU class via their iPad. They said the it stops at the pop-up blocker. I don't have an iPad to test this out on. Thanks.

@MoiraGoggin, good news/bad news. good news: You can turn the pop-up blocker off in settings on the ipad. It is found under the safari settings. See attached. Bad news: the training is done in Adobe Flash so your screwed opening the session on an Apple device. Welcome to everything is iWonderful!

Don't blame Apple for this one. All or, at least, most current mobile OS devices have stopped using flash, including Adobe. Apple was just the leader on this (once again). Tell the customer to set up and install apps for Wyse Pocketcloud or LogMeIn Ignition back to their desktop and use it that way. The Pocketcloud solution is free.

@ShawnSlavin thank you for the goods news! What a pain about Adobe Flash - wasn't Adobe oringally Apple oriented, at least I thought it was.

@BillPfahnl so the real issue here is that Sage is publishing it's training using a technology that won't run on mobile devices including cell phones and tablets (excluding Windows 8 tablets). What are other companies using to create a publish AV content?

@ShawnSlavin My concern is Sage should have thought about people wanting to use iPad/Android (mobile) at the outset. Is it really that unusual that an employee might want to view this type of material over the weekend on their iPad/Tablet?

Good point @WayneSchulz after this year's Summit and their skit on mobile interfaces, you'd think they would have included delivering education material via mobile devices.

Poor Sage - Everybody thinks they should be thinking ahead (at least further out than the next quarter's earnings report). I was on a call today with client that thought MAS 200 v4..5, Job Ops, Sage CRM and Act! should work seamlessly together because they were all SAGE products!!!!! Pascal should be careful what he prays for!!!!! Clients may begin EXPECTING more for their money!!!

I asked some folks at Sage about this and this is their reply: Our Sage University vendor (Cornerstone) has an Apple App that enables our customers to watch training video's on their mobile devices. It's in early development stages, but allows watching. The next update in March will include the ability to browse and register. (To watch training videos now, you must have registered for them in advance.) It's currently called ""Cornerstone Mobile"". When you download the app, you register your device and it links to our site.

I'd rather have a portal that actually worked instead of being able to watch a SageU.com video on my iPad.
