Anyone seen ""Paste method of worksheet class failed"" when attempting to export to Excel from BI Explorer? I see it in lots of Google posts, but not relating to MAS.

Version of MAS and version of Excel?

4.4.notsure and we think it's Excel 2007 64-bit. I've checked more and this just started happening recently on all machines, and at least one of those machines has definitely exported fine previously. I'm checking now on recent opsys/Office updates. Which blows. :-)

64 Bit Excel is incompaitble with SOTAMAS90 which is 32-Bit. I haven't heard of any intention to come up with a 64-Bit version.

Scratch that - it is 32 bit. Client is probably getting confused with server 2008. Confirmation from IT that it's 32.

I've received this message too, at 2 different customers that have 32-bit versions of Excel. I've Googled and can't find anything related to MAS. I did find one posting in Sage's KB that was extremely helpful (NOT) --- the resolution was that they couldn't duplicate it.

I haven't found the resolution either although I think it may be an obscure excel setting. Work around is to select all and paste into worksheet.
