    Anyone run into this error where a workstation appears to disconnect from the network and then freeze. Sage 100 ERP 2013 PU 3. Appears sporadic. Customer has noticed it occurring after connecting to the Internet though it does not happen all the time. Other user report having similar issues though it's possible that one user is the problem and once they lock up the error rolls through other users on the system.

    I had a client that got them all the time on 4.4. It took me about 6 months to convince IT I thought they had a network connection issue. Errors stopped after a bad switch was replaced.

    They claimed they looked at the switch and found it ok. Now how they know it's ok -- I've no idea.

    Had a client with similar issue recently and it looks like it was the Kerberos Ticket issue.

    Not sure how the article relates to Kerberos. My understanding is that Kerberos is set by default on a domain to expire after 10 hours and the recommendation is to set it longer. In the case of my client their IT person set it to 15 hours.

    I can see how opportunistic locking could be the issue also. It causes the same type of errors.

    Thanks - would you have a link to anything on that. I couldn't find any Sage KB articles but I did experience something very similar with a customer who never shut down or logged off their workstation and that caused a problem (resolved by having them log out every night).
