Anyone remember how to change column headings in GL Custom Financials?? If I make changes and use the arrow keys left or right, it goes back to default settings. Customer (non-profit) wants it to say CURRENT MONTH instead of PERIOD TO DATE plus I added a column and want to change the far right heading. I found this but it doesn't work: http://infosource.sagesoftwareonline.com/sw_attach/kdb.asp?isresolutionconceptid=414795 Wasn't there another trick?

Perhaps you are thinking of the move them to SI trick, Works like a charm considering the ugliness of custom reports....

If memory serves, you have to go to the end of the line and hit a carriage return in order for it to retain your changes. There was something about scrolling back and forth that it would loose your changes. You also had to remote extra spaces. Now to hop back into my way back machine...

Once you change your text, enter tab to advance to another field, then exit with 'x'.

I would if I could. I just sold them AR after I found out they were using QB to record their invoices then entering journal entries in Sage 100. Their year end is 8/31 so it would have to go in next year's budget. I convinced them of AR in April and they had to wait for next year (Sept) to buy it. Such is life. Thanks for all the hints though!

Were you able to get it to stick?

Well, for the CURRENT MONTH heading, if I didn't scroll to the right, it stuck, so I left the default heading for the final column - it'll do.
