Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Yep.

Your head spinning too? All these numbers being fired at us ...

  • 4.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

I think that's the goal of the day. Lots of numbers and no time for Q&A.

What's the saying? If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit?

The migration story is pretty good actually - lots of service revenue for partners.

Up to 88% NPS"" with three plus products. That doesn't mean average. That means there is one really happy customer.

  • 8.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 10:22
Yep. Averages are a bitch when you are dealing with so many variables. Mark Twain said that there are lies, damned lies, and statistics.

Partner revenue down, tech-support hold time up.

  • 10.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

He's talking about active account management. Partners: heads up.

  • 11.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

Proactively offer support services ... there goes the partner revenue.

Head hurting ... is this cause and effect? It's not the weekly calls that necessarily cause satisfaction, is it?

President's Circle ... they are announcing winners on the stage again ... like they used to do years ago. Interesting. Also interesting that it seems that Oct 2012 - May 2013 sales are now being completely disregarded.

Brad Smith offers apology about the KB roll out problems. Ok.

KB offers improved response... you'll get the ""No document found"" message quicker.

    Bwahahahaha .... too funny Mark.

  • 17.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 10:36
Now they're making up numbers...hypothetical partner?

  • 18.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 10:39
Doug lives in a theoretical world of big data to make his decisions. I think he meant to imply ""you could be that hypothetical partner"".

Wow. If 10% SMB move up to MMD each year, but 20% MMD move down to SMB and another 10% MMD move up to Small Enterprise, that means MMD is decreasing at 20%/year. Good luck y'all!

I think the Sage Cloud is a compelling message ... it will be interesting to see how it plays out in the coming months and years.

Yeah - those numbers confuse the hell out of me, @MarkKotyla. I also don't get where the 4,500 number comes from. Any idea on that?

  • 23.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 10:45
Sorry, didn't get a screen shot in time.

Sage Billing & Payment will be huge.

  • 25.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 10:47
Is anyone interested in the Sage Billing and Payments? Aren't there third-party solutions that already do this?

DSD was offering a option (a few years ago) but as far as I know, it never took off.

  • 27.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 10:50
Good to know - thanks. I wonder why the DSD product didn't take off?

I liked it (the DSD product) but internally our consultants didn't buy in because some of the features were redundant (to tools that were already available in Sage 100). I think it was white-labeled, not developed by DSD and that might have had something to do with their investment.

    Interesting. Thanks Brian.

That's funny. I didn't notice the accent in her blog.

    @PeterWolf Where are you?

  • 33.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 11:13
A lot of my sales go through other partners so I don't always ring the bell.

  • 34.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 11:20
We get this story instead of Q&A?

  • 35.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 11:20
I, too, liked the DSD product, but it did not integrate with SPS (they have their own merchant agreement) so it was not a fit for our clients that would have benefited. Clients tend to not want to deal with multiple merchant accounts.

  • 36.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 11:20
I was thinking the same thing ... give these guys 3 minutes top to tell the story.

  • 37.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 11:22
@BillPfahnl - Thanks for clearing out the cobwebs. I remember that being a hurdle as well.

  • 38.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 11:36
Ok, NOW they're ready for Q&A.

  • 39.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 11:50
So was there Q&A or did they fill enough so there was no time?

  • 40.  RE: Anyone on the Quarterly MME call?

    Posted 12-13-2013 11:53
They ended 5 minutes late, said they answered all of the chat questions (1 publicly), and closed without Q&A.

Sorry I missed it. That screen shot was same as at ITA.
