Anyone notice that Sage have taken Sage 500 off the latest Sage Investment Protection Program? So far as I can tell the offers hadn't expired.

Notice that as well. It's no longer an option for migrating from or to. It's just in limbo. I guess that mirror's their policy of ""we aren't killing it but we aren't removing the DNR either!

I am asking Sage. Don't know if I'll get a reply. I bet they are none too happy about the whole categorization of their products by Guy which led up to this. Heck maybe it's part of what led to Guy retiring to go climb mountains.

Wayne, Sage 500 will not be retired and that's why it's not on the investment plan. If they move from 500 to another product, it will be in the family discount. Thank you, Jonathan Abebe Customer Account Manager III, Sage 500 ERP Sage Mid-Market Solutions

Like I said, not going to kill it but not going to extraordinary measures to save it either. LIMBO

Sage changes the Investment Protection Program as if each version is just a draft and we won't remember the previous terms and expiration dates. At one point the upgrade of BusinessWorks to Sage 100 had a user trade in amount through 9/30/2014 and a lower rate through 9/30/2015. That second rate has disappeared. They extended the same trade in rate to the end of this month (but not releasing that until 10/09, leaving us only part of the month to sell it). And when we approach the customers who couldn't make a decision, they're thinking Sage is like Macy's and will have another sale next month. Consistency is not in Sage's vocabulary.

It reminds me of the old Meatloaf song... 2 out of 3 aint bad. I want you (or your money_, I need you (your money), but there ain't no way I'm ever going to love you (invest in you), but don't be sad, cause 2 out of 3 aint bad.
