Anyone know why I can not print summary reports in SageCRM. I check the ewwaresystem.log and I get this: UserActionException,ErrMsgAccess violation at address 1A1A0DC6 in module 'eware.dll'. Read of address 0000000C : EAccessViolation: Access violation at address 1A1A0DC6 in module 'eware.dll'. Read of address 0000000C
Creating stack-trace ID:697059030. Error message is ""Access violation at address 1A1A0DC6 in module 'eware.dll'. Read of address 0000000C"" From the UI I get a page saying: An unexpected event has occurred: EAccessViolation: Access violation at address 1A1A0DC6 in module 'eware.dll'. Read of address 0000000C

I will look at the SQL logs. Reboot of server and IIS has been done many times since this started to happen.

These are tough ones to troubleshoot. Try restarting IIS. Try rebooting the server. Look at the SQL logs as well for any indicators.

Looking at the ewaresql.log there isn't any errors. I can see the SQL statements. Is that the logs you were talking about or some other one?

Yes - that's it. When did the problem start? Has it always been a problem? If not, what changed? Did you add custom fields? Did you change any grids? Did you add any custom code? Did you delete any fields or grids?

It worked when we first installed. Did not try to use it for a while (so a lot of things may have changed) and then about 3 weeks ago it stopped working. Just now getting around to troubleshooting it. Had some other issues with tomcat that I had to fix first. Multiple things were happening with tomcat and all appear to be ok now. We did add custom fields. We added them to the screen but not to the summary reports.

It seems that something is out of wack with the meta data and the tables. This can be a challenge to troubleshoot. Look in Administration > Customization > Company : Company Summary - take a look at the different report categories and see if there is anything unusual. Try removing any custom fields.

If you are talking about the summary report under company, there are no fields added or changed from the default. I am tempted to take all fields away and see if just the company name will print.

Is it too late to restore from backup? Is it in production? Is it your install or a client's?

Way too lat to restore and it is in production. It is our install.

It's going to be difficult to troubleshoot. Here's my opinion: I can't think of a single client that uses the Company Summary report. Use the Company Dashboard instead. It's more versatile and useful.

Mariam makes a good point about the report that I don't typically consider because of my bias against killing trees: ""You may question why you wouldn't simply click on the Quick Look tab or even a dashboard. For a simple and great reasonprinting!"" 4. Look! Over there! Something shiny!

BTW - I'm just stating the ugly truth regarding this matter. These types of problems can be a pain to troubleshoot. For me, this report isn't worth 10 minutes of effort and we've probably spent a lot more than that already!
