Anyone know off the top of your head - can you take the Inventory Master Category 1 to 4 items (the user defined fields) and have them appear on SO Entry lines without custom office or fancy footwork?

I think you're stuck with using Custom Office to add the fields.

You have to either use Custom Office or add the inventory master file to the Crystal Report or a subreport since there's already one left outer join.

Yes they are easily added as a UDF in the lines and can directly added as a udf on the form wrk file

Need to use CO but it's a piece of cake. Add Fields to Grid Definition, click Show All button in lower-left, navigate to ITEMCODE, and scroll down and you'll see the 4 Cat fields,

Or maybe this customer doesn't own CO?

Believe it or not, we have some folks that bought MAS before CO was ""included"" and they've never felt there was enough value to purchase it.

I just finally sold Custom Office to one of those folks the other day. And we promptly put it to use (whew).

Thanks everyone -- in this instance I wasn't clear enough. The customer wants to add the field to the screen -- so I think @BrettZimmerman may be the closest to what they want to do.
