Anyone know if end users are entitled to the SMI report DESIGNER (when licenses are matched to F9)? Tried contacting Sage, but after being passed to 3 different extensions (none of which were helpful) and unable to find anything on ATLAS, I'm totally disgusted.

The Report Manager is the ""freebie."" The Connection Manager and Designer are extra charge

Didn't SMI offer some trade-up from users with multiple FRX products? Can't remember the details.

This client only had F9, not FRx.

We have several clients that had more than one FRx desktop and now have the same number of SMI report managers. We have one the also got 17 SMI viewers to match their FRX drill down viewers. We also have an F9 user that had 4 licenses and now have 4 report managers; however, i can't prove they didn't have 4 FRX licenses too. I don't think they did.

I thought that Sage only matched for FRX licenses. Also that designer was always an additional module. Although if you brought an additional connector it was included as a promo.

I thought it was only FRx too and after further research, I found the client has both 4 F9 and 4 FRx licenses.

customer receives a like number of Report manager or report viewer licenses compared to what they had for FRx. connector and designer must be purchased.
