Drone on Wayne - like many people, sometimes I need to get hit over the head repeatedly to get a message to sink in.
To ensure a successful CRM implementation, we are big fans of keeping it simple. We strongly advocate crawl before you walk, walk before you run.
We aggressively try to control client requests upon their initial implementation to keep the system extremely basic so adoption has a chance. Without adoption, CRM is a waste of time and money.
So, to that end, we have a standard Sage CRM Quick Start plan for new customers that essentially covers the following:
Installation and configuration
Data migration and pilot system
Training
Production system and go live
The challenge with CRM is much like ERP - there are a lot of options and variables with pricing so it depends on what they are looking and if they want us on site or remote.
Typical prices range from $3,500 (for a bare bones system with no data migration needs) to $16,500 (for a more detailed system with data migration).
Again - those are typical ranges. We just got one customer up and running for $1,500 last week - really bare bones - and another customer signed up in January for a $27,500 project - lots of data conversion needs (bringing in data from a dozen different sources).
