Anyone interested in an easy way to get the CRM message in front of your prospects and clients? We are launching a series of monthly, co-branded events to help spread the Sage CRM gospel. We are starting small and hope to build up aggressively over the next twelve months. If you are interested in participating or if you have suggestions on how I can make this better / easier for partners, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. The goal is to create a win-win situation so your input would be awesome. http://azambapartners.com/2012/02/06/how-to-spread-the-gospel-of-sage-crm/

@PeterWolf We've pretty much let CRM die on the vine with my MAS clients in the last few years for a variety of reasons. Do you have an overview slick or elevator pitch on how you can make it make sense to pursue again for us?

@MarkChinsky - I am a firm believer in the importance of CRM. Here's an article I wrote a while back on the topic: http://azambapartners.com/2011/05/12/why-care-about-crm/ I just don't think most companies can compete effectively these days without a CRM system. Customers call the shots and they want a consistent, high-quality experience. If they don't get it, they will go to the streets (read: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and a) complain, b) ask for recommendations or c) do both. CRM done right can address this problem. That's my brief shpiel on the matter but if you have some time, check out my articles at www.azambapartners.com - they are there to help other Sage partners understand why CRM is so important and how to deliver the message and who to deliver it to.

Said it before but I'll drone on tirelessly again - needs to be a solid fixed price option in order for this to take off. Small, Medium, Large - what type of CRM implementation does the customer want - and with that price is a defined scope.

Drone on Wayne - like many people, sometimes I need to get hit over the head repeatedly to get a message to sink in. To ensure a successful CRM implementation, we are big fans of keeping it simple. We strongly advocate crawl before you walk, walk before you run. We aggressively try to control client requests upon their initial implementation to keep the system extremely basic so adoption has a chance. Without adoption, CRM is a waste of time and money. So, to that end, we have a standard Sage CRM Quick Start plan for new customers that essentially covers the following: Installation and configuration Data migration and pilot system Training Production system and go live The challenge with CRM is much like ERP - there are a lot of options and variables with pricing so it depends on what they are looking and if they want us on site or remote. Typical prices range from $3,500 (for a bare bones system with no data migration needs) to $16,500 (for a more detailed system with data migration). Again - those are typical ranges. We just got one customer up and running for $1,500 last week - really bare bones - and another customer signed up in January for a $27,500 project - lots of data conversion needs (bringing in data from a dozen different sources).
