Sage 100

Well, the call wasn't very productive as they had a newbie who basically asked questions - number of transactions, etc. - but doesn't really know the integration. He asked a colleague and was told it is from a third party - Extreme IT. He suggested he bring in someone who knows the product for another call next week (although that's really what today's call was supposed to be). Will report back again, I guess.

We haven't used them but Vertex is supposed to be integrated with Sage 100. https://www.vertexinc.com/integrations/sage-100

Had one customer try it several years ago. Vertex was great. The integration was terrible - nonstandard screen mods that broke every time you made any custom office changes, forgot about an entire state for a month, etc. Customer went back to Avalara, though they would still welcome another alternative.

Well, had a second call today and they basically said they have integrations with Sage 50, 100 and 500 but they probably would be about the same price as my customer is currently paying Avalara. They said they are the number one provider for global sales and they also have exemption certificate management, rule-based engines, filings, etc. Pretty much the same as Avalara. At least I tried!
