Anyone heard anything about payroll changes for the 2013 W2 reporting? Client emailed me the specs - OMG! Do you think Sage will put it off until the end of 2012 and let everyone just put it in as one lump total then?

If this is Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) proposed regulations, it may never happen.

My guess is if the changes did go through Sage would move quicker to a common payroll.

Watch for these requirements to be delayed. The Obama administration has asked the Supreme Court to hear a case affecting the health care law.
