Sage 100

Anyone have the IRD's available for 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015? Demo Mode in 1099 forms and Sage recommends reinstall of all IRD's, but the IRD's are not on their site. Client is on 2014, but Sage is adamant we will need 2012 and forward IRD's.

And it's been like 3 years since I had to create a case with Sage. Not loving it!

Attached. I have some doubts that'll solve it though, but I suppose you have to try. What if you couldn't locate those old IRD's? Does that mean the client's SOL? Is the client current on Maint?

Sage being insistent about installing files they released in the past, but don't have available now... brilliant.

The client is current, had hopes of going to 2017 but all those issues had them put it off. The tech sighted the writeups as to why I have to install the really old IRD's. And yes, insistent on it. I can't see how a 2012 IRD will like a 2014 install, but I will try. Thank you Brett Zimmerman!

I had a client stuck in demo mode. Sage said as last resort to take your copy of sy_formsefilingversion from the same version and rename your clients. You should hit the activate button on your copy first then copy to client. Tell client not to activate. This got me thru and ot of demo mode.

Thanks @NancyHanson I had finally gotten a tech that knew what to do. Was thinking I needed to update the group. The fix you named worked perfect for me too. WHEW!

The last call I had the Sage support ech made a very insistent diagnosis that was obviously not correct. I don't know what's happening in the support area but I won't call anymore unless it's dire. I told support I was reopening the case and they threw attitude my way until I proved the issue to them for the third time. They didn't want to deal with it until I insisted. If we don't advocate for the customer who will? Thankful that this group exists for break fix.

@WayneSchulz And you have Sage sales signup clients that are off of maintenance and being told of the new UI and how support can help with all their needs. Then client calls and says Sage took my money and I have not heard anything from them. Can you help me get the new UI. I say well you signed up for the perpetual maintenance not the 100c so you do not get the new UI. Well Sage said we get 1 free user of CRM - can you activate that for us? Ok sure for 1k - I need to install SQL IIS etc.. Well no I will just use 1 of my support cases for that - I say okay. They also said they were going to use Sage support to help implement barcoding. I communicated that Sage Support does not do all these type things but feel free to call. And on top of the that Sage did not pay my commission on this. If I did not catch they would have screwed me too. Urgg Sage!!! Sorry for the rambling..

Having this same issue today (day before 1099 filing deadline, of course!) and I don't have a v 5.1.7 STD environment handy to take the SY_Formsefilingversion file from. Can someone post a copy here or send to me via PM so I don't have to create a new image to do the temporary install? TIA @Sage100UrgentSupportNeeded

I have resolved that in the past by installing IRD's that got skipped. Now we make everyone get them for that reason. I'm going to note Nancy's solution, though!

I was told by Sage in December the supported version were because these were the version that included the IRDs.

Thanks, @NancyHanson - your solution helped me out after hours. I compare the two files and was a little nervous, though - the file layout was substantially different. But Aatrix is working without the Demo mode, so I guess all is OK.
