Anyone have the 4.5 version of ACS Group Multi-bin? I've tried to get hold of them several times today, but I'm not getting a response.

She may have lost her voice in Michigan last week. Hope she speaks up so all can hear.

Apologies for my silence last night. As soon as I had the file, I had to get out to the client, and then it was all upgrade heaven from then on. It worked great. I owe @MarkKotyla lunch next time we cross paths. #BaconSaved

Quick update: Just got an email from ACS group. Freaked out when I told him that I installed PU2 and told me to shut the system down and get the new version on it. Sent the update for PU4 though. Anybody want it?

Did they provide a reason as to why they did not respond to your inquiries?

    Good one Wayne!

Sorry for my tardy response, but I don't have a copy to share and wouldn't mind getting a copy now that you have one @AaronClark :) I don't recall the details of why PU2 was a problem, but I do recall there were a number ""holes"". Glad he got back to you with an updated version.

That's pretty unusual for Ron Chompf to not be Jonny on the Spot.

Ron can be Johnny on the spot or I have had him on a bad day and that was not pretty. I agree being on the latest update. Run the reconcilation to see if you already have issues.

I've had the misfortune of speaking with Ron on a bad day. Not pretty at all.

I keep looking for a sign that Ron has changed. Some resellers say he has, others speak to the contrary. My one major interaction was interesting. I installed MB on a Tuesday night. Wednesday morning, client couldn't invoice due to continuing errors. Since they had been invoicing without issue for two weeks prior to installing MB, I called Ron first. He wanted to know why I was so certain it was MB causing the issue. I said, because there were no issues prior to last night. Well, call Sage tech support because my stuff isn't the issue. Eye ball roll...... Sigh. Bit my lip and tongue. I called Sage and after five minutes, THEY said it wasn't the base code. So I call Ron back. Explained the Sage response. He then said it still wasn't his stuff but he would do me a favor by connecting. Made the connection and less than five minutes into the call, he mutters Oh, Oh. Sensing that this was a technical reaction, I asked what that meant. He said I was missing some MB code and he would download it to me. Everything was working about 30 minutes later. No apologies received. Unfortunately, we still experienced problems with the code. On Friday, we had a telephone conversation that didn't require a telephone. If I wasn't screaming at him, I was very close to it. He offered to refund the client's money because obviously, he wasn't meeting their expectations. I said if he would just fix the OBVIOUs bugs in the software, no refund would be needed...... I understand MB works better now but I haven't had any clients with the need AND the resources to try it.

Have a client currently trying to decide whether the annual maintenance plus the price of a mod to MB is worth it. Issue is with Physical Count (and it actually does not work the way standard Physical does, so I think client has a valid point). I had no idea annual maintenance was so high!

The only real issue I've encountered with Multi Bin is I had to ""Prepare Multi Bin Data"" multiple times during the conversion. The maintenance is really high. It's gone up the last two years also.
