Anyone have clients using Celerant POS with Sage 100? Celerant supposedly has a built in integration. Any information would be greatly appreciated. We have a Sage 100 prospect that already owns Celerant. Thanks,

Every isv claims to have an integration to Sage 100. If you decide you are interested make them prove it before buying.

Thanks Doug, the prospect already owns Celerant.

Was it also seamless and robust? :) Sorry, I could not resist continuing with Doug's thought on this.

I have a customer with Celerant and Sage 100. They're on an older version, 2013. I had to write V/I jobs to import GL distributions. That may have changed. They may post directly to GL Exchange now.

Thanks Karen, so do they track their inventory in Celerant rather than Sage? Thanks in advance.

Yes, everything on the distribution side has to be done in Celerant because it's a POS system. The best that you can hope for is to sell them GL, PR, and maybe BR. I believe that Celerant also handles AP because of the integration with PO.

I have been down this road a couple times though not with Celerant (sorry). I always give the end user a 15 minute speech (usually several times) about what the term ""integration"" means to the company offering the solution (""yeah we export to excel"") and what integration means to the end user (""great, push one button and we bring in full detail transactions""). Often I feel like a broken annoying record. Had one end user return what they claimed were $1million in POS terminals because they found out it in fact wouldn't integrate. Others have stopped (way) short of demanding that I create a VI integration for free - largely because they remembered my pitch about how the integrations were probably not going to be what they were imagining.
