Anyone have a contact at Sage that they talk to regarding license transfers? As I understand the procedure you have to fill out a form and submit with some paperwork. Customer is in the midst of selling their business and the acquiring company wants some type of re-assurance that they won't have to relicense the entire system. To that end they are looking to speak with someone at Sage and the customer is not getting very far.

I had one previous experience dealing with Anne and it was very time consuming.

Relicensing a client happened to me last fall (pre Atlas). One of my many reps sent me a word document which I forwarded to the client for completion. See Attached. I didn't feel any pain at all.

@ThereseLogeais I'll give you $ 50 to call and insist on speaking to the ""System Administrator"" because that's what the error message told you to do ...

Cannot get a product list for client with expired ClientCare. Tried to get back to home screen and got that error screen. Logging out makes it go away, but still no product list.

@JeffSchwenk's form is dated 2006. I think I've seen a more recent one that requires additional documentation.

Sometimes copyright marks don't need to be updated, Looking at the information tab, the form was last modified on 2/16/11. All I know is that this is the form they sent last August and it worked very well back then. Heaven help us all if it is lost somewhere in the Atlas black hole..........

Last time I had to quarterback a license transfer it took about a dozen emails and calls to Sage. The customer was calling me constantly to ask for a status. I guess license transfers don't generate money and therefore are noncore services for Sage.
