Anyone experience the following: In Crystal when adding an additional table I continuously get a Crystal has stopped working and Crystal crashes. Just adding po_90UDF to the PO form code. New server, 32-bit Server 2008. It happends on Win7 64bit, Server 2008 64-bit and this 32-bit 2008 server most recently.

You can't have Crystal open on a secondary monitor. Is that the case? If so, move it to the desktop monitor. Very strange but true.

Oh, that certainly brings back memories. Crystal does NOT like the secondary monitor. Go figure!!!!

What actually happens when you try to use the secondary screen? I normally have Crystal on my secondary screen but regularly drag it back and forth and on a detailed report using small fonts I up the zoom setting and have it cover more than one screen. The only wierd thing I have run into is if Crystal is stretched to show on both screens when I close it, the next time it will come up only on the primary screen and only cover the part that was visable when last closed. If that happens, I just drag it to the screen I want and resize. Using NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS card and ViewSonic VG930m and ViewSonic VA903b old format screens.

Have you tried updating the UDF (in Custom Office), then trying again?

I FINALLY learned my lesson - if Crystal mysteriously crashes with no warning or won't go through the MASCRW.EXE, it's probably non-Business Framework UDFs at fault.

I have one client that has PR UDF's and invariably I do an PU install and forget to update the UDF's via custom office. Crystal forms using that UDF stop working. Always, always update your UDF's in custom office when install PU's. Now only if Sage would make updating UDF's a one step process! What would I have to talk about?????
