Anyone ever found a creative way to record loan amortization and payments in Sage 100 other than initial J/E and repetitive ap invoices for monthly payments?

need invoices to pay in AP .. FAS doesn't do that unfortunately or it would of been a great idea.

Ah, sorry, forgot about the payables part. Repetitive invoices don't do it?? The allocation of interest/principle wouldn't be accurate but if you use FAS for that then have the repetitive invoice go to a clearing account? A liability account that would eventually zero out? Sorry, just thinking as I type...

I wonder about HubDoc which can get the invoices from financial institutions and pass them to bill.com from which they can flow to Sage 100.

Bet you could write a script to do a look up in an Excel/Access/Pick your database table that would insert two lines based on the invoice date. Amortization tables are fairly straightforward....
