I used buffer, but last I checked, they didn't support Google+. Has that changed?

That hasn't changed. I haven't really found anything with scheduling that does. I think he's busy. Or still asleep. He got in about the same time I did last night/this morning.

I used Buffer for a while but find that Hootsuite Auto-scheduling is just as useful (and it posts to Google+ pages).

I'm a big buffer fan - what I like about it is that the auto formatting is great from your desktop or phone. This means that when you share to Buffer it knows to take the title of the post and use it as description along with a link. For some reason if you try to share many articles straight to Twitter on a smartphone it doesn't pull the title so you have to write/remember it. Hootsuite, Tweetdeck also offer similar experiences though they are a little more complicated for a new users. I think Robert and Brian are correct regarding G+ posting. Google is being very cautious about allowing automated posts to G+ because when that happens many users just turn on some automated service that dumps all their Twitter posts into G+ and it makes the content redundant. One thing I've learned about social media is that all the companies playing in the pool want to be the originator of the content and not just a place where it is automatically dumped. I use Buffer every day and recommend it.
