Anyone else receive the Sage Partner Survey?

Yep

The ""Overall purchase experience"" question(s) - pricing, order process, renewal process, seems to indicate they are aware of an issues. I wonder if this survey was sent to partners that rep any Sage product or was more targeted. I've no idea if the 'purchase experience' is any different between Sage products or between continents. Either case, rated them low. During our Sage Live roundtable yesterday, Regina Crowshaw indicated that a new partner program started Oct 1, 2017 (fiscal 2018), more details to come.

I got one. My expectations are very very low that anyone takes action based on these.

Like Wayne, not sure my five minute effort to complete it will have any impact on my Sage life.

A new partner program??? Is this the same as the one where you sell things, but no tier is posted and many times no margin? Or is there a new one where these post?

On the Sage Live call the new program was eluded to but not expanded upon. When I emailed and asked for the new Partner Program docs, I got crickets. So you could be right in either example. :)

Or perhaps it's what appears now on the Channel Partner Tier Dashboard - we started October 1st at ZERO tier and have to work up from there - oh, wait, they took $9,000 away from me since the weekend, so now I have to get $191,000! Guess which people are still on the management team and earn $50,000 of tier for each one you guess right. (Do Larry and Tim count as management?) Cynical - me? I learned all of this from @PeterWolf !

If there's a leak in 90 Minds, I'll get an e-mail tomorrow - ""Mr. Hoyt, we won't be needing your attendance at BPAC next week. We feel your cynicism might make the heads of management explode.

I answered my survey, and have contracted with a personal security company (one of our customers) in case it wasn't anonymous :-)

I don't know why Sage does these surveys when they obviously can't handle the truth...

I don't think I'm going to correspond with Sage on this but did receive a request for followup.

@WayneSchulz How did they know it was you? Did you put your name on it or is there a secret code where they can identify you?

I don't recall putting my name on it. I presume all responses are tracked back by a unique URL encoded into the email. I didn't write anything I wouldn't say to anyone at Sage's face so I'm not concerned until they call up DSD and try to make a beef. Sage's last argument was that I was BPAC and I had to be 100% cheerful. At least that was my understanding. I never set foot into BPAC and nobody trusts me with any type of confidential info but I guess they grabbed whatever was handy to complain.

I saved all my responses to the survey and am taking them to BPAC next week along with a 4-page document of issues and concerns I sent to my fellow 90 Minds BPAC members. I am also taking details I gathered from the NetSuite presentation yesterday. Now THAT is the way to run a software company and channel! In addition to Sage being disorganized and disjointed, they don't think anything is wrong. That's very scary.

I actually don't think they will need a code to identify my survey. It's the same as what I have been vocal about for 2 years.

I received the survey a couple of times. I haven't put any more time into it than they put into making the channel satisfied...

We used to have a cat that was a biter, and the Vet's chart had a large red sticker on it where BITES! was written. I can imagine Sage having a virtual sticker for some of us that says Troublemaker! - if they were that orgainized . . . or cared.

If they cared then the truth we tell would reflect better on them and they wouldn't be tempted to make censorship threats. Of course I'm hoping that the Cowboys ALL take a knee this Sunday and then ask Jerry if he wants to forfeit.
