Anyone else noticed this? I have a vendor using Sage 100 v2013 that sends me a monthly SO invoice via paperless. Since it is a PDF, I like to copy and paste the individual line charges into the comment field of AP invoice entry. Works most of the time. But I have noticed for the past two months that one or more (not all) of the lines are created as image lines and thus cannot be pasted into my AP comment field. I asked the vendor if they were aware of anything but nothing is popping up. Has anyone else noticed this? Just seems odd that only one or two lines are misbehaving. But then again, this IS Sage 100. Thanks in advance. Update, vendor reran the invoice for me to day and now different invoice lines are images.. Go figure.

This is possibly related... A customer reported that since their upgrade to v2013 their Paperless PDF docs now have unsearchable fields/data. I'm able to duplicate on my system and it seems to be a problem with fields that have a Bold font. Searching PDF docs works just fine on v4.50 and before. I'm waiting for a response from Sage on this one. Similar to Jeff - it doesn't allow you to copy those bold items either. It just skips over them when you highlight info on the PDF document.

Interesting, perhaps it is related or just a different flavor of PDF issues. The comment lines are what I am trying to copy and paste. They are not bolded. I can access some and not others. regenerate the invoice and different lines are funky.

FYI...PU5 resolved my clients PDF ""searching"" issue. Here is what Ryan Clark had to say: I completed testing on this and have discovered that it is related to the RPT's that we published in 2013 up through PU4. Putting on PU5 should resolve the issue. Also, 2014.1 appears to be unaffected. To pinpoint the issue, we replaced all of the RPT's in the MAS90/Reports folder upon the PU5 release. If there are any cached reports under MAS90/MAS_xxx/Reports, they will be prompted to convert the first time they run the report. I want to stress overall as well the importance of having PU5 on any 2013 systems it is the most important update we have published yet, especially in regards to printing.

So here is a question. What exactly changed for the reports in v2013? The font? Are we supposed to change the fonts on all of the custom reports that are in place? I know we have to convert them, but is that all?

I asked if anything can or should be done for custom reports and he said this...""The Problem font is MS San Serif, so I would avoid having the Custom reports use that font. Other than that, it might be a case by case basis I couldn't be sure every report would be affected.

Didn't they have a note on this in one of the PU? Also we posted this on the 90 Minds site - Jenny I can credit you back with a link to your site if you don't mind. I don't do it automatically since sometimes people don't want to be the source, etc.

I've seen it too and it is not MS San Serif.
