FYI...PU5 resolved my clients PDF ""searching"" issue. Here is what Ryan Clark had to say:
I completed testing on this and have discovered that it is related to the RPT's that we published in 2013 up through PU4. Putting on PU5 should resolve the issue. Also, 2014.1 appears to be unaffected.
To pinpoint the issue, we replaced all of the RPT's in the MAS90/Reports folder upon the PU5 release. If there are any cached reports under MAS90/MAS_xxx/Reports, they will be prompted to convert the first time they run the report.
I want to stress overall as well the importance of having PU5 on any 2013 systems it is the most important update we have published yet, especially in regards to printing.
